Victim’s Assistance Program: Assisting more than 21,000 victims of crime
each year, offering them Help, Hope, Healing, and a Voice in the criminal
justice system.

DWI: Aggressively prosecutes DWI’s, providing outreach and educational programs such as OUT FOR BLOOD in order to make our streets safer.

Family Violence: Committed to keeping families safe, The DA reaches out to victims within 24 hours and specializes in ensuring the safety of victims and the prosecution of offenders.

Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso: (Founding Board Member) Serves the needs of children affected by crime by providing services and specialized prosecution.

Active in Veterans Court: in order to assist the reintegration of veterans
into the community.

DWI and Drug Courts: To respond appropriately to drug abusing offenders by balancing legal consequences and educational/therapeutic programs.

Border Prosecutors Unit: (Project Director) Collaborates with 17 border jurisdictions to handle criminal activity—drug smuggling, gang activity and
human trafficking.

Innovative, Efficient and Transparent Programs:
-24 Hour Intake System: Streamlines arrest and bookings 24 Hours a day,
increasing law enforcement efficiency, resulting in cost savings to
the taxpayer.

-Case Portal: Offers an up-to-date and secure on-line access to defendant’s files to defense attorneys, creating a transparent process.
